I knew of problems just think(wish is a better word) that aftermarket companies put some thought ionto product testing...and yes it was a **** poor day at work yesterday...I'm going to go mess with the beast...I'll update

Then you should have been prepared for the fact that they wouldnt just slap right on. Oh, and your probly going to have to rejet too. They arent magic by any sense of the word, just better than stockers, a lot better. Thats why they put one on the new YFZ.

Raptorjay- I would try to make them fit in the stock boots before i added a adapter that relocates them down and over. It has to cost some performance to make the fuel/air change directions. I have seen them in stock boots, with adapters and many homemade ways. I had a pair in my stock boots and the pipe cleared fine. Some do and some don't. They are sweet when you figure them out. I will break down one day and get a set but not yet, the modified stockers are still able to work for me.

 

RAPTORJAY I feel your pain, even though I dont ride a raptor. You would think for the kind of cash you rolled out for carbs that the dang things would fit right without modification. I've never had to modify my bike to make any of my other performance parts fit!

Have you given up the info of how your stock carbs are moded? Please share.

 

I've had to modify my quad quite a few times to get aftermarket parts to fit. That is all normal in the world of high performance.
