FCR=Friggin Crap is Retarded
Lets see I just spent $730 on a set of carbs that didn't fit my quads frame
a set of carbs that don't bolt up well with the intake manifolds(more sketchy than the stockers)
oh yah and they interfere with the exhaust...
could be the carbs are retarded...but after forking out all that cash I think I'm retarded
Do you know how much heroin I have to sell at the elementary school to make that sort of money[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

If you would have done a search on FCR's or read anything on this board for the last few months about FCR's you would have been prepared for the fact that they take some fitting. Hi Performance folks, that $hit takes a little bit of work and elbow grease. The Trinity manifold and adapters make quick work of fitting them on your quad, as for them not clearing your pipe DUH! Everyone that has said anything on this forum about FCR's and installing them has said it, you should have known you were gonna have to pinch the pipe, otherwise engineer it to get the accel pump to clear. With all this information at our fingertips it cracks me up how it goes right over some peoples head. UBETRUN not a month ago had several extensive posts about how to make FCR's fit, took pictures and everything. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

You have to install a couple of washers on the right side of the frame crossmember and pinch your pipe less than 1/4", well worth the effort once you get it going again. Just wait until you hit the throttle the first time, that little accelerator pump is worth the extra work. According to Sparks, they could never get the same HP out of an extended intake manifold as the stockers. I had just bought UPP carb boots so I opted to make them work. I had to apply a lot of muscle to get them into the UPP carb boots but I don't think they will ever work loose. Also, the Sparks X-6 pipe will clear the accelerator pump if you feel the need to spend more money.

BTW, you got a hell of a deal! Sparks was the cheapest I found and they were $799 before shipping. What are your mods and what jets came in your carbs?
