PLEASE TURN OFF YOUR CAPS LOCK!!!!! IT'S THE EQUIVALENT OF SCREAMING.
To answer your question, yes, I feel the same way. The Raptor's suspension comes from the dealer set up very soft. Increase the preload on the front and rear, this should help. Also, keep in mind that the Raptor is several inches taller than the competition (Z400, EX400, etc...) so it doesn't feel as planted as the other quads do.

HiTIng JUMPS W/ A RAPTOR?????
I have some video of me jumping and i love it,i admit that the stockers are set up soft, that's why i have works triple rates set up for MX,
I was clearing 40 to 50 feet at pismo and landed soft as a babys a$$,i will have video of it soon,i was also jumping higher than any banshee or 400...
A few of the forums member were present and they know what;s up..

Suspension is a big help. Axle and arms are a bonus too. I feel the Raptor is rear end heavy in the air, and you have to correct a lot to level out. I didn't think the suspension was too bad though. But i'm sure after a few years it would be toast. The 400EXs and banshees are a little better balanced and lower to the ground, not to mention lighter. The raptor just has a different feel that requires a little getting used to. I only hit three tracks on the stock suspension, and only had trouble with bottoming on a big double about 80-90 feet at Jaybird04's house. Can't wait to hit it again with my new works!
