Why move to Canada? Go to Maine, upstate New York, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Washington or if you are really looking for torture, Alaska. Must admit, we don't get to watch Polar Bears like they do in Churchill but it's on the Discovery Channel twice a week so no worries. For me, Canada is irrelevant geographically because the US has everything that Canada does and alot more.

Why does fresh water keep coming up? The US splits 4 of Great lakes with Canada and we have the best one [Lake Michigan] all to ourselves. We control about 70% of the largest fresh water source on earth.

I can ride my quad all over the state of Arizona. Mountains, desert, forests and the Imperial dunes are 3 and a half hours away. Once you have ridden Glamis everything else is meaningless. So although you hear how guys back east have no place to ride [and that is often true] those of us out west have a plethora of options.

I'll be thinking about you Canadians when I am eating fish tacos in San Felipe, Baja this weekend and that's only an hour and a half flight in the Cessna.

Hoser, you might be right about the claim of just as many Americans moving to Canada as Canadians moving to the States. Which would further prove my point, there are 9x as many of us as you so the likelihood of a Canadian moving to the states is 9x more than vice versa.

Honestly, we couldn't ask for better neighbors. Brits are, well Brits and Aussies drink too much.

You guys really need to do some research on the water issue. There are three damns in B.C. I know of that were built by the USofA so you guys will have enough water in the south western states. Since you guys built them and filled a whole valley we get the electricity in return. Also there's a museum in B.C. that has blue prints of more dams that will be built in the future when more water is needed, guess what we aren't building those ones either. Like I said do some research before you make comments in which you know nothing of.

I'll stop typing, I got lots to say but the more I type the worse it gets.
Just because Canadians have given up their right to keep and bear arms doesn't mean that Americans should-- that is what keeps this country free and guarantees that tyranny will never go unchallenged.

Firearms are a tool. They do NOT breed cruel and evil intensions. Before guns came along people would kill each other with swords and arrows. It cracks me up how this $hit continually spews from you Canadians. Open your eyes. Read what you are writing-- it makes no sense.

Yeah, you better stop typing before you make yourself look even more ignorant than you already appear. Oops, too late!!!

Also, I rather have guns be legal. Than illegal and only criminals have them.

AMEN.

Did you know that after Australia banned firearm ownership of private citizens that violent crimes committed with firearms shot up 400%!?!?!? Wow, guns are dangerous.... WHEN ONLY CRIMINALS OWN THEM!!!

Because he was saying how great it is to live in Canada, IDIOT....
So what you're saying is you like the lack of gun control in the US that allows 8 year olds to get hand guns? What the hell do you (not you in particular) want a hand gun for anyway ? It's useless for hunting and unless you're a law enforcement agent I don't seen the requirement, other than for hobbie use at a shooting range ... And what odds if the government wants it registered. The fact that they spend waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyy more on it than they should have is irrelevant. It's a good system in theory.

And it IS great to live in canada. Very very low crime rates is most all areas of the country. Toronto being the worst of them all is still far better than most US cities for crime rates. We have public medicare so that everyone can get treated equally, not just the people who can afford it. And we have an abundance of natural beauty not found anywhere else on the planet.

Back on to the subject however, I pay $245/year for 500k pl, fire and theft on my warrior.
