does a yfz have a throttle stop like most stock quads ? all i know is i cant aford to buy things twice get what you will b happy with and you will learn to ride it

If I were going to pick a competitive 4 stroker dirt bike to start with, I would go for the CRF 450. It has a more linear power curve that will not suprise you like the YZF will (all of a sudden it is just screaming). I have ridden both and they are both VERY fast. The CRF will just be more flexible. OTOH the 250F is a super bike to get started on.

There is a throttle limiter located on the handlebar thumb throttle and it is referenced in the owners manual.

sorry i was thinking yfz not yzf dont let him get a yzf he will kill himself i have a 03 450 and have owend 426s and they are not a bike for a new guy a 250 f is a fun but controllable bike that it light and can b thrown araund i think i will sell my 450 and buy a 04 250 they are a blast to ride
