If I'm not mistaken you were talking of a guy that was at the ATPT nationals in Texas at 14mins place. I think he was just clowning some people and let his son tear up the strip. I don't believe he fixed the Vforce up so his son could be the sole drag racer on it. Kids want to have fun to.

Thanks, Wash. No, the fires are going absolutely full tilt right now. Visibility is about 1 mile, and we're all hackin' up loogies like we smoke 3 packs a day. One blew up over the ridge east of me yesterday afternoon, giant mile-wide Hiroshima cloud went up. Probably 30 major fires going between me and Glacier, they're losing count because you can't see through the smoke. Lots of evacuations and closures, you can't go outside and do anything, and can't breathe out there anyway. Very sad, some beautiful forest being moonscaped.

Thats terrible.. The news around here doesn't show much on Montanas fires. I guess I'll have to tune into the the missoulian online and read up on whats going on. I'd have thought they'd have gotten a handle on it at least by now. You and your family stay safe.

PS. I first looked at the pics and saw 4 boys sitting there, thought they were all yours, LOL. Saw your pretty wife and couldn't imagine all 4 coming out of her, then I read the caption a little closer LOL. She doesn't even show the 2 that are yours, I'm more jelouse of you every day. Man, I wish I'd have never went to the missoulian. Not only are 2 of my favorite areas on fire, your area Steve and areas around Glacier National Park, but my future home town is on fire. The Crazy Horse fire is raging out of control in Condon. They've closed off many trails and evacuated roads that I have rode my Raptor on. Glacier creek trail is closed as well as many others, the Glacier trail I have personaly hiked on twice now.

Current closures include: Kraft Creek Road, Pine Ridge Road, Lundberg Road, Elk Creek Trail #30, Elk Ridge Trail #301, Hemlock Feeder Trail #695, Glacier Creek Trail #690, Glacier Lake Feeder Trail #742, Turquoise Lake Trail #708, Glacier Slough Trail #481, Lindbergh Lake Roads 79 and 79c, and Lindbergh Lake Campground.
All of these closures are right where the heart of my Camping experiences are in the Condon area. This is a massivly wooded valley between two very large mountain ranges, there will be fuel to burn for months, I can only hope and pray that an early winter comes for all of Montana to help put an end to these fires. This is realy a sad day.

Fear not, for from the ashes life will spring. We lost 300,000 acres in the Bitterroot in 2000, and yes there's some moonscape, but many of the acres burning now will be not total destructive crown fires but healthier ground fires. At least we hope. I know this thread has gotten off-topic but our outdoors we ride in is high priority.

Please, one good rain.

At 6'5 270 I feel your pain!!! Although with these long legs I also get the knee pain from bending as a pretzel. Brother in law was telling me I should take the emergency brake of to save ounces so I told him maybe I will switch to that new low carb beer!! Dear God, ounces????? Good thing is that at my size I don't have to listen to much crap

im holding steady at 160. Trying to drop some but sometimes it just dont want to leave yanno?

Last time on the lights the owner of a pretty quick banshee who weighed 250lbs ran a 4.6 on his bike, after he got off all discouraged he asked me to ride it. I pulled a high 4.2 which is roughly 3 tenths faster. Im sure i was a better rider then him to pick up .3, but even at that im sure weight had .15-.2 of the total ET.

PS, damn wshrdkin that DS done put the beat down on you in the first video! lol he was even nice enough to look back and see just how bad he was stomping you...ha

LOL, That was Mario (Annihalater here on the forums) That was his stage 3 DS full blown and secret gas and all. My brother and myself were stock bore 11:1 he at 11:5:1 and cammed, no porting etc. My son and Mario would race and they'd be even at the top. Mario said my son was pulling on him and would be in front if the hill was longer. Justin (my son) usualy has to play a little catch up he still can't shift gears real fast, he does better on the hills than the flats because there's only 1 shift involved on the hills and weight imo plays a bigger role on hills than flats, not to say it's not on the flats just not as drastic a difference as on hills, imo.
