A couple of days ago I was out runnin my buddies with the nitrous on and accidently left the bottle open when I shut the bike off. Left it open for about two days. I went out today to go ride again and was pissed that I was dumb enough to leave the bottle open, but even more so when I looked and the pressure was at 200 pounds! Is it normal for nitrous to leak out when you leave the bottle open, or do I have a leak? I guess I will for sure have to shell out another $20 for a refill. Thanks for any info.

It could have, you may have a small leak at one of your connections and after a few days it could have leaked out. Nitrous must be expensive up there, we only pay 3 bucks a pound here

 

It's only a dollar more here, I just have a 5 pound bottle.

 

there is a small leak in my system, but it's fine if you remember to turn the botle off. If enough pressure builds up, like if you left it out in the sun, the pressure might be high enough to create its own leaks (forces it out connections)

 

Where do you guys mount the bottles at? Im looking to put one on the bottle for hillshooting (small shot)

Buy the craycraft/MBRP drag pipe and mount the bottle where the silencer used to be.

I mount my bottle on the other side under the fender. Just remove the coolant reservoir (you don't really need that) and use those bolts. That's what I do.

 

They always leak. Buy a remote bottle opener and you won't have to worry about it.
