Yep, but things happen sometimes...

 

If you treat her right in 90% of the cases she will reward you but you need to understand in the performance world there is no such thing as a 100% bullet proof garantee...You want power you want speed you need to understand the odds...You could end up being in the 10% or whatever the real percentage is of just unlucky ones...If you can deal with it then go for it you wont regret it.

New to the forum, and wondering how I should clean the exhaust ports without scratching the piston?

 

A buddy bought a new 1993 banshee and rode it for 11 years without opening the top end. I bought it from him and rode it for another 2 years before selling it. It still ran good when I sold it and the motor/transmission was never touched.

 

Banshee can actually be very reliable if you give in normal maintenance. My dad has had his 10 years with the same motor
