Hey,
So they sent me the wrong size pistons!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a 20 over bore size...I clearly said 20 over!!! AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid people..Sorry, my Quad has been down for a while now with a busted trans and I just got it back and ready to put my top end in and hit the track and now I have to wait until Tuesday at the earliest just to contact the stupid place I bought my pistons from. I thought Banshee bores were 20 over, 40 over,60 over and 80 over.... Frank.

The machine shop bored your cyls. without having the pistons. That's not how it's done right, in fact it shouldn't be done at all. Like Raptor58 said it meens you need 3 thousanths clearance between the piston and the cyl. Who ever bored it should have known this and had YOUR piston to do the final sizing and honing to get that clearance. If you very lucky you'll be all right, but have the clearance checked before you put it together. If it's off hopefully it's tight and the cyls. can be honed to fit it right, if you have to much clearance there's not much you can do but get the next size piston and have it done right.
