wildchild i here what you are saying but i have talked with the rangers this year and believe me they are going to eventually start enforcing the sound regulations.as you have seen for yourself the fmf on my raptor does very well for a quiet pipe.i am going to build my raptor further this winter but i will still keep the fmf so that i dont have to worry about the sound checks in the future.

i am not sure of the cost of the fine but i have seen the rangers make some people put there quads back on the trailer after testing too loud.if you try to ride again after you have been warned without changing your sound out put then they will bust you for it or so i have heard.

My raptor dynoed 47 Hp with a pipe and jet kit at 4swI, dident enter the race but that was the #......
When your stock or even with a pipe and jet kit your in your own league,and most of the time you should just sit and watch the buillt up bikes race,if you like to lose then line them up!

I bet this little YFZ450 will send the raptors and z440's home cryin'! Unless your packin' a NOS or Alky lunch...you ain't got much hope. I'm sure there's a few...(you know who you are) that are up to the task but you better have that motor seriously worked.

I donno about that one, dirtwheels did a shootout between wiseco kittted z440, 450F, and the predator. the yfz liad a lil more juice down on every aspect. the predator was somewhere in the back ..lol
what's with these dyno numbers always being screwed up, will anybody ever give the true horsepower or anything??lol
b/c in dirtwheels they said that the yzf was pushing 39hp with the fmf on it. i seriously doubt the yfz puts out only that much.
