I am interested in trading my yamaha grizzly (see in my pics) for a new yamaha wolverine. would the dealer do this as an even trade-off?

 

mayb. good lookin grizz. but you never know. just go in first and dotn say u are gonna trade. just lookin. then come back and say trade.. they will knock it up probly 300 w/ trade but its better then 700 or so

 

If your going to Blue Ridge Yamaha and Polaris, they wont. they were asking $2850 for an 86' moto4 that was rusted up and had crappy plastic. and they told my friend(sheerider17) that they would only take $2900.00 for his 02' banshee! It is in great condition too. But anywhere else, you should be able to get them to trade if the people there arent stubborn like some of them at Blue Ridge.

 

i am actually going to metro cycles and rocket marine cycles...The reason i would want to trade a nice 600 grizzly for a new 350 wolverine is that i am 15 and cannot handle the grizzly and i decided i want an atv i will be happy with. I just hope they will make an even trade.
(my grizzly is for sale but wont sell, no one is interested)

 

That is a sweet looking Griz. Here is what I'm guessing they will offer you $3800 for the bike and add on all of your extras. Your probally looking at them offering you around $4300 to $4400 on trade and paying around $500 boot. What are you asking for your griz? I figured it would have sold fast pepole are always looking for a good griz.

BTW, I would stick with the griz. IMO, it handles better, but is a liitle too big for me. One thing nice on the griz is the selectable 2/4wd. This will cost you about $270 for the Warn 424 option.

 

I want 4,300 for the grizzly...I just dont want an atv this big and bulky.

 

The problem with even trades is the salesmen don't get any commision so even if it's worth it, they are going to ask for money.

 

Hiram has it right you will be paying some to boot even if the trade could make the dealer some money.

You will love the Wolverine I had a 1997 and it was great. Be sure to add an aftermarket exhaust though it makes a nice difference in power.

 

99 percent of the dealers will trade after the following. they take you in the back room and bend you over a table and (use imagination) they will give you half the price its worth and then turn around and sell it for the full price. talk about getting shafted. but see what they say. if they wont trade sell it and buy and wolv.

 

Guess what guys? i guy just called me who is interested! he is giving me 4,500 for the grizz sunday!
