under 150 lbs = Blaster or warrior
over 150 lbs = warrior

that being said,,,,a 110lb person on a blaster is probably faster than a 220lb person on a warrior.

your biggest concerns should be

1 size of rider
2 weight of rider (blaster is kind of light duty)
3 four stroke vs two stroke

 

hmm well i love to see ppl putn down blasters..im not sayn they are the fastest quads out there cause they are not..BUT iv run an 440 ex i got him by 4 bikes in a 100 yrd dash i can run with a mild built banshee until 5th gear faster then a stock banshee the raptor is strong buddy of mine has one stock with a FNF slip on i can run side by side until im in 4th gear..now that isant bad for a SLOW BLASTER huh ?? and i weigh 230 po thanks [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

2 stroke vs. 4 stroke is a never ending battle. But in the case of the blaster and the warrior it is much the same. The blaster has good bottom end and has the snap, but a 4 stroke has speed on its side. The blaster should take a warrior, i know mine has

 

I have a Warrior and my son a Blaster. The Blaster has a pipe, airbox bods, filter, jetting and the warrior is stock. I have 50 lbs on him but still beat him at drags, top speed, and hill climbs.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

i have an 04 blaster and my buddy has a warrier and he has a slip on pipe. I weigh about 110 pounds and he weighs about 130 and i smoke him every race.

 

First of all i hate when people talk sh*t about atv's with an exception of honda and suzuki. I think there all cool as he!! to ride. I smoked a warrior on my blasty stock for stock in the snow. We raced a quarter and i beat him. I sat still spinning through 1st 2nd and 3rd. but i still smoked him. Im pretty sure that he could ride too cuz he said he's been ridin for like 10 years.

 

240badassblaster i have 3 friends that have blasters and when my raptor had just a pipe it was faster in 3rd gear so I dont know how you hang with the raptor until 4th whoever has the raptor must not know how to ride because blasters do like 54 mph maxed out

threads like this are dumb becuase you have somebody come on here and say that warriors suck just because they have a blaster when I'd take a warrior over a blaster any day and then other people are like well my quad smoked this quad and that quad sucks and just stupid b/s like that

stock vs. stock the warrior is faster but the blaster might be quicker because it is a 2-stroke I don't know i never rode a stock warrior

 

my cousin has a 98 warrior and was a rumor to be the fastest model and i spanked him on my 2003 blaster and i was puzzled because my cuz has been riding all his life and i just got my bike like 6 months befor but i had experience on a fourtrax 200...the bike was still bone stock i guess all that shizzi talkin came and bit him in the azz
