Default DO I NEED A NEW CLUTCH ?

Just bought a brand new 87 warrior , and well i think i need to put a new clutch in it . it doesnt slip till i get higher in the rpm's 2nd 3rd etc, it doesnt engage till its almost all the way out . dont think there is any more adjustment . or can you adjust this out . and also is the clutch hard to change and do i need any special tools? thanx87 warriordg pipe02 650 prairiewarn 2500napa #7335EPI black springK&N filterNYROC exhaust mod

my blaster clutch doesn't engage till it's almost all the way out, but that doesn't mean anything. i just have it adjusted like that. if your slippin you definately need a new set of fibers. what does that run 35$ maybe? go ahead and replace em'

Just make sure your cable is adjusted properly before you go through the time and expense of replacing the clutch. You should have about 1/2 inch of free pull before you start getting some pressure on the clutch lever.
