My 03' Warrior is sometimes an incredible pain to put into reverse and even more difficult to put back into forward. When you pull up on the shifter it's almost as if you can't pull it up far enough to release it so it can move back and forth. Linkage adjustment maybe?? This never happened when it was new but now with probably more than 50 hours it happens a lot. Anyone else have this problem?

 

happens to me all the time..i just get used to it..then sometimes the light will go out and i think its good..but the lever wont be all the way forward

 

my 03 warrior has about 150- 300 houyrs on it and it's only about 3-4 months old and that happens ALL the time first... here's a little trick that somtimes work..... when u pull up push it forward just a bit which should drop it so u can pull it back ... when u go from reverse to forward if u can right b4 u stop moving put it in forward... u may hear a grinding it should b just a couple clicks which is bad but that's y u gotta do it when your BARILLY MOVING!!!! I just posted a message on a reverse problem. Mine has also been very difficult to get in and out of reverse since the day I first rode it. Good luck on it.
