Default Please help 686 Problem

actually those are FCR carbs with my 686. My sister's stock carbs with only a full pipe and filter is at 160/165 @ 7500ft.

I'm lost here , do not attempt to tune your bike without an EGT meter guys, come on

whats a egt meter. Is that a fuel/air mixture gauge with o2 sensor. Where can i get one and hw much?

Im sure there is another 686 raptor on here with the same mods and similar elevation. That being said, if you use their jetting it doesn't mean it will work. Your quad may flow diferently then other quads, the best way to jet is get in the ballpark range and then perfect it from there. You got it running now, so perfect it. BTW what color are your spark plugs, they are a very good indication of running rich or lean.

TRUE. Your best bet would be to read the plugs, if you do not have a sensor. That is what we do and have not had a problem. They seem to run pretty well too[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
