Holy chit ... do blackballed and I agree about something? lol
John, we might not agree on politics but I think you got this one right on the money. Then again, shouldn't everyone agree that they don't want to pay for (literally, or pay the consequences for in other ways) other people doing foolish things? Sounds cut and dried to me

I wear one when I have to, that's it. (I think you have to on a Raptor ) I rarely wear it on the Grizzly, unless I have to.
I don't think ANYONE should be made to wear one. It's a personal choice.

I wear on all the time, and do preach sometimes to people I know. Its funny this topic is at the top tonight, I just got back from ridding in a pit where there was 4-5 people not wearing a helmet. This I don't agree with, all it takes is for someone that knows the land owners of this place to see guys raising he11 in there with no helmet and complain about it to them, ( In an old lady's voice ) you know if one of them gets hurt with no helmet on then your gonna get sued! Next thing you know OUR ride area is closed. A little common sense goes along ways. You can find a helmet that is comfortable for you and looks COOL!! With places closing all the time we need to do as much as we can to keep them open! Wearing a helmet is easy, going to meetings and arguing with tree huggers about keeping land open is much harder, they can find enough to complain about now, lets not give them any more! I was a young he11 raiser once too, and am glad I had a few to guide me in the right direction! Wait, I think I may still be! LOL

If I go out of the yard, and into the corn fields around the house, the helmet is on... hitting a ground hog or fox hole at 60mph cant make for a pretty site. I dont preach to anyone, I dont have to any of my freinds or wife. But it does bother me, especially when you go to riding parks where it seems that none of the staff ever wears one, but heaven forbid they catch you riding without one ya know?
