Default White Brothers R-4 Welded Wrong???

I went to put my R4 on today...took the old pipe off......slid the new one on..
BAM!....went into a problem...it wouldn't fit on the headpipe without the mounting brackets being turned up side down and the pipe on backwards.....tried to put it on normal...nope...wouldnt fit.......is it supposed to be like this or is mine really welded wrong? I compared my stock piped to it by laying them side by side......it was completely opposite....hmm anyone?

The exhaust pipe has the extra springs holding the mounting piece on, see if they were put on the opposite side?? You just take the springs off and the pipe falls out.

I hope this helps.

Hey, I have been there tooo.... hehehehe

Great sounding pipe I know. I sure did love mine. I got the Sparks pipe now and its just a little bit deeper sound, almost like a Harley if I lower the idle....
