WARRIOR CARB
#1
I AM REBUILDING A 1988 WARRIOR: 10.25 PISTON, 390 LIFT CAM WITH SPRINGS, k&N WITH OPEN LID AND A FMF PERFORMAX. DO YOU FOLKS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS ON A CARB SIZE AND STYLE, ALSO WHAT DO THINK ABOUT PORTING THE HEAD, IS IT WORTH THE MONEY?

Had the same set up on a 92. I used the stock carb with no problems.
My porting was done by a friend who races flat track motorcycles cheap. If you can afford it you should do it any breathing mods to 2 valve head are good. If not at least match & polish the carb to the intake & intake to the head you can do this easily enough yourself.
When you are done be careful you can now over-rev the engine (ther is no rev-limiter) and float the valves. One of them will then hit the piston learned this the hard way.
