Default finally done

I started to replace the swingarm bearings in my quad about a month and a half ago. First i couldn't get the linkage bolt out of the swingarm. Then i had to order all new bearings and a replacement bolt and several other little small things. Once i got those parts I F*&$ up one of the bearings and had to order a new one, that took yamaha at least two weeks to send. Once I got home from school I went right out into the garage and put the assembly back together in about 45 minutes. Once I got that done it was about 8 o'clock and I decided I wanted to rip it, so I opened up the garage, put on a couple layers of clothes and ripped it right down the middle of the road (good thing my neighbor (a cop) wasn't at home tonight). But ah man I MISSED that feeling.

yeah- i went through the whole swingarm bearing nightmare myself. dsmike and i started it on it ane night after we had pulled my motor, fixed it and put it back in. it was like 2 am and we went ahead and started on it. we were beating on the old bearings to get them out of the swingarm. it is a miracle no one called the cops. ended up giong to bed at 4 when his girlfriend made us stop. of course then she asked why we had 2 flywheels laying on the ground... one was mine and the other was his- we forgot to put mine on. still makes me chuckle thinking about it. ended up having to cut one of the races out of the swingarm with a dremel.

I can't find anyone good at aluminum welding..........the valve cover and head assembly have to be purchased as a whole.......and that is over $500..........then add 450 for porting........and you have spent a grand........
I am going to see if I can't get it welded up......it is just a small crack that lets oil leak......
I think it will be easy If I can find anyone good with aluminum.......
