My friend has a tecate with a FMF exhaust on it and he thinks that it will beat my banshee bored .65mm high performance pistons and crank. what do u think. everyone answer we are in a big argument about it.

you should whup him pretty good. i raced 14mins on his before i rebuilt my motor and beat him. his motor was freshly rebuilt and he had a pipe on it- an fmf if i remember correctly. that was a cool little bike. the headlight even still popped up.

 

The tecate is no banshee slayer. It ran good but not piped banshee good. It would take a stock banshee. ( does anybody really leave them stock?)

 

yea im a tecate fan all the way but they arent going to beat a banshee. They are fast motherf*ckers and that powervalve gave it some real sack. Id rather own one of them than a lt250 or a trx250 any day. I belive it is faster then both those other 250s of the day am I right. It at least revved higher???

from his post... all he has is pistons and a crank.. niether of which are gonna add very much... so he is almost stock.. and like said above a tectate will take a stock shee... so who wins now?


i dont care either way.. just pointing out the obvious.. and i find it hard to believe that there is still a banshee out there that DOESNT have pipes on it..

 

Coming from a Tecate owner -- he doesn't have a chance with a near stock Tecate unless you decide to start skipping gears! They are fast when run against other 250s. But Banshees were made for screaming top end and drag racing.
