Yea but what business is going to give a 300 dollar discount or whatever deal, just to save the 2 hours it takes to get a credit response from a bank.

How is that gonna get you a better deal? Financed or cash they still make the same amount of money.
Not entirely true. If you put it on a credit card instead of getting a bank loan or using a manufacturer's cc, ie honda card, yamaha card, etc, then the dealership has to pay a seperate finance charge for using a companies credit services. More often han not the dealership will absorb this cost in their price if they know ahead of time you are going to use a cc, but if you can pay cash they can just ring the sale up and exchange the money right away just like buying a pack of gum. No waiting for approval, and some commercial banks can charge a finance charge to the dealer as well for services rendered.

Well, Thanks for all the replies fellas. I never thought I'd get this many. Anyway, We're all getting YFZ's and we're all paying cash...As far as getting the extra bike for me, I'm thinking along the lines of just buying a used 400ex...they are cheap as heck anyway...I'll let you all know when we buy our quads and let ya know what kind of deal we get. SEe ya!
