Check out Yamaha's website and run their comparison in the specifications section for the "new" Grizzly 125. Compare it against the Breeze - a model that's been out for years. You'll see that all they did was take the Breeze, change a couple of pieces of plastic and add some racks to make a mini-grizzly with dual headlights. I'm not knocking the Breeze. I own one for my son, and its been very reliable and done everything we've asked it to do. I just enjoy catching the marketing folks at Yamaha in a white lie.

The design is really basic. People don't buy this quad for sporty handling or for heavy utility type work. After all, its only a 125. So I'd admit that a redesign really wasn't needed. My beef is the way that they packaged the quad as some new arrival and named it after another newer quad, the grizzly, which was a large improvement over Yamaha's older utility quads. Its all marketing. I'd still recommend the quad to anyone looking for an entry level quad for an inexperienced rider that's between eight and about thirteen years old. I even enjoy tooling around on it once in a while, and I'm 42!
