I have a hard time, especially upshifting, getting from first to second. It jumps into neutral and won't go past that. I have to shift back to first and try it again. This causes near crashes and very high motor rev. What can I do? Thanks.

Hey WarOf87
I have a question for you.
Is your foot peg on the shifter side bent.
I'll tell ya something. My peg was bending on the shifter side. There is a linkage that is supported by that foot peg. On my warrior that linkage wasn't operating properly because of the support being bent. That's something you might want to check out. Don't know if that's your problem but it was certainly mine. Also you may have a bent shifting fork in the tranny. Again it's hard to say without seeing the machine. Hope this helps you get in the right direction.

I'll tell you what your problem is... it's the shifting forks... your guys bent them when trying to shift and it missed the gear and then while the motor was revved up you clicked up to force it into gear. If you ever miss a shift you lost the race didn't make the hill aren't going to make the jump etc.. next time just let the bike return to idle and start all over again. DO NOT FORCE IT INTO A GEAR!!!!!!

Mine did that... just before it was good as dead. 5th gear ended up welding itself to the shaft, and i needed a new 2nd gear. It really sucked, being charged by the hour, and they couldn't figure out the problem.

There is a solution to those who arent worn out. It's your shifting technique. Keep pressure on the shift lever as you release the clutch, the gear will then fully engage. You can try it in your driveway going into first gear you will feel it engage further as you release the lever. I had the same trouble and the service manager showed me this one and I havent had the trouble since.

I just got it a month or two ago so I can't take the blame for any damage. I don't guess there's anything I can do. I've found that halfway shifting before squeezing the clutch seems to work.
