It coming from the middle of the motor on the bottom i assume..and everytime it sits..put a little puddle of oil there. Cant really see where it is coming from. Any of you guys ever have this problem? are they notorious for oil leaks?

What could it be..its a pretty new quad..Nothing big i hope..it runs fine

the leak could be coming from the exhaust manifold"where the pipe connects to the engine" and if it is dont worry about it. It is normal it just means it might be running a little rich and its the excess oil that didnt get burned. If its that its no big deal.This happens on my blaster all of the time and my dealer told me it was normal. Hopefully thats what it is! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]

 

Middle of the engine on the bottom sounds like the oil drain plug. Take it off and see if there is a crunch washer on the bolt.

Of course oil has it's way of leaching and traveling far from where it originated....Clean the engine down really good and start it up...You should be able to find where it's coming from.

As far as being known for oil leaks? I have not had any problems at all with leaking. The only time I had a problem was when the Shift shaft seal finally wore out...10 minute job to replace and no problems since.
