Default wolverine clutch mod

I have a 2001 wolverine with a white brother cam, e series pipe, high comp piston,re-jetted with stock tires. It seems like I lost a little bite in my low end, and I was wondering if there's a way to modify the clutch so it engages at a higher rpm(will just heavy duty clutch springs due the trick?) any other suggestions?

Try heavy duty clutch springs. How many disks are you running in the e series?

I remember there was a thread a long time ago that had a link to instructions on where to drill holes in your clutch shoes to lighten them to increase the engagement rpm. I was thinking of trying it myself, but never did. Maybe try a search, there was alot of people talking about it then.

yea definatly drill holes in the clutch weights. I believe 95wolv has done it on his wolverine I know it can easily be done and there is a set way to do it. Start a new thread asking how to drill wolverine clutch weights youll get a response

i'm running like 8 disc. I've tried everything from 2-20 and that seems to work the best. I'll try starting a thread for drilling the clutch weights. Maybe I'll have to try the clutch springs first. I'll be sure to post the results. Did your Warn 424 help your performance at all? or did just kind change the trail ride?

when you put the warn 424 kit on it you sare natrualy getting more power to the rear since it doensent have to worry abotu front. Its will pop up a lot easier a lot of accel you will feel. The handles on it bnow are crazy. most deff worth buying. everyones says there jshoul;d just make on on there. about the clutch weights i would like to do that to pm me if you find oiut how

about the pipe. If you think that is what you want then fine and dandy but the most power you get is when you buy more and it kills. It is also real loud if thats whatg you like l;ike me
