I went to all the shops in town here today looking for some new boots and handlebars. I went by honda first since they are right next to my place and i saw a nice trx450r sitting on the showroom floor. I then went over to yamaha and i didnt see any yfz450's. I asked the guy why he didnt have any and he said that they cant keep them on the floor. And i guess they sold all of theirs untill next years model comes out. I was amazed at this. I cant believe that they can be sold out for the rest of the year and the quad has been out for almost a year. Its also funny how Honda has a 450r sitting collecting dust.

Dont take this thread wrong. I like the 450r very much. I dont want this to be a 450 debate.

 

Dontcha just love it [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Back when I was getting my raptor they didnt have any also until next year! I was mad, and stunned at the same time, lol. I was forced to buy a used one, but was glad, cause it came with some good **** extras.

 

It's the opposite here the Yammy dealer has 2 and the Honda dealer has no 450s but the Honda dealer here has no buying power and rarely has more than one of each type of quad at a time.

 

Our dealer cant sell their yfz's, the same one has been there for like a month, but the honda dealer has sold the first two theyve got, I think it has a lot to do with the OTD price for the yfz which is at $7060.00, F-ing rediculous, ive seen many otd prices for around $6000!

 

Chaparral had several YFZ's on the floor just the other night. What you dealer really meant, is they (the dealership) didn't order enough of them, so they won't have any more till next year. Dealers that did order enough, have a bunch sitting in their wearhouse.

 

Yea it also depends what kind of dealer it is if they stock all the parts then deff. they will hwve more in stock

 

Yeah all our dealers have a few yfz's but I still havent seen a 450R.

 

They usually have 2 or 3 sitting on the floor. There OTD price is supposedly a lot higher then normal. Im not sure exactly what it was but Schwendi and I went to oregon to buy ours because it was much cheaper there.

 

The alba dealer has a butt-load of YFZ's here in so cal

 

It was the same deal when I bought my Raptor, there were just a few LEs left in the area and that's what I got and you can bet they weren't dealing on the price. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]
