best brand of pump gas??

I dont know if its any better than anyone else's gas but I buy all my dirt bike/ohv gas at the same 76 station. I use a 1.5/3.5 gal mix of 100oct/91oct in my 2 strokes and straight 91 in my thumpers.

Had to look at the date of that 2.05 gas.
Ahh the memories.
Got filled for 2.69 on Saturday. 2 miles away, it was 2.95

As was said before, the gas is effectively the same and the post is old.
Fuel that sits longer is of lower quality, so your best bet is to fuel up at a location with high traffic as they will consistently have the fresher product. Also, never fill up when the tanker trucks are unloading, it stirs up more crap that has been building up in the tank. There are filters, but there will be more sub-micron particles that will get through them during this time.

I also use BP 87 octane I filled up the June 26th it was 262.9 the 27th it was 272.9 the 28th was 275.9 and by July the fourth it will be 300.9 or more just in time for vaction traveler's in my home towm. Before they get halfway to their destination, north, south, east or west it'll be 350.9 or more ! That's the way it's been for me ever since the george w bush war with saddam insane ! I watch for the newest gas stations, even then you'll get water in your in your fuel tank after hard rain storms and when the gas station's tanks get low so i avoid them at these time's if at all possible!!!! My uncle is a WW2 Navy Vet.after the war he reinlisted and retired after 20 yrs of service to our country, and he keep's in touch with friend's and family member's who are still serving in the mililtary, he e-mails me with gas co.'s that import's oil from OPEC nations to boycott these company's. He updates the list weekly; and BP is on his list of stations who don't import their oil ! There's a long list of where to and not to buy from, but i won't go into all of them to keep the post as short as possible. But i'm willing to pay 2 to 5 cent's more a gallon to keep from paying my hard earned money making OPEC richer to aide their support of terrissiom for us all..............GOD Bless Our Troups in harm's way....And may GOD Bless you all.............willieebee

Fascinating that some are talking about BP. They just got busted for price fixing propane. They were caught red handed.

Well BP in my opion has to recoup the extra cost they pay for not importing their crude oil from these OPEC American Hate mongers that harbor terroisits intent on killing our troops and innosent God fearing men, women and chidren; and at the same time detroying out economy by selling their oil to these Oil company's who import the highest percentage of their oil from OPEC while reaping Billion's in record porfit's in the proccess. And sadly to say that our present Goverment in thewhitehouse give's them a helping hand ! I love America and would rather live here homeless and pennyless ! Than have all the money in the world living any other place on earth, a True Born Again Christain could never be the President of American because He or She couldn't live with theirself having to make the decision of who lives and die's protecting this preious OPEC oil ! So i will contiue the support BP or any other Oil Company who make's a stand again't Opec . I'm not saying let the guilty go unpunished , but there or bad apple's in every barrel and they should pay for their crime; only don't condem all for the few ! May GOD Bless And Keep........................williebee
