If he doesnt think you have enough experience (probly BS) then take a ATV saferiders Course. Then he wont have an excuse for not letting you go.

Thats an excellent idea. I think he actually even suggested it WAY back. When I first got on my blaster (the very first day) I went straight for the hardest thing in the yard... a good long hill. The next day I went riding with him and all the guys. I did really well that day... and the days after it for months... untill "the accident". Ever since then we've been having this problem. He says its partly because he practically has a heart attack every time i roll down a hill. But it doesnt happen all the time. Everybody has their accidents. thats how you learn. I just think I would be so much better if i went along... because then i pretty much have to do what they do to keep up... and i learn better that way. He acts like he has reasons for not letting me go.. but i think he secretly wishes i never got one! What a sad thing.

 

If your gona stay with him sell the blaster, get a Raptor and we will give you advice how to mod it so you can kick some butt. It's nice to have the power when you need it or want it.

 

Alright that settles it. Heres the situation... im going to get the blaster all up and running for friday (i need an inner throttle cable... its ordered). Im going to give him a month or two to let me go with him. Yamaha dealer is calling soon to let me know when a 350 raptor will be in. By then I should have made up my mind... and then ill start kickin some a$$. Wish i could have a big raptor like him.. but at 5'2 and 105lbs its not looking to promising! I own my own quad and I go riding with my boyfriend wherever he goes. He has never told me I can't go because he doesn't want to wait. He used to have to wait for me but not anymore. If he ever said I can't go I would have to leave him, because that is not fair. Just cause your a girl doesn't mean you can't ride as good as him. Have fun, but be safe!
