Im going to put a 14 tooth front sprocket to try to make up the top end that my 18" tires took away, is it going to help. Im also going to put a reed spacer, will it make up the low end im losing with the sprocket. Thanks

i didn't see a difference with my reed spacer. if you race MX i would keep the 13 tooth front sprocket and 18 inch tires for torque.

I do race MX but on some of the straights, i am wide open in 6th and needing more speed bad. My blaster's got real good acceleration but absolutley no top end, its pretty fun on the trails but im not into woods riding. I dont even know of any xc track in southern louisiana just mx flat track and drag strips. Im taking it to get it ported in a couple weeks and to fix my back brakes for the second time in 2 years. So maybe the porting will give me that top end that im looking for and not sacrifice any bottom.
