too much porting by my friend cause the JB weld that Yamaha puts into the intake port to leak water into the cylinder. so I need a new head to port and start over again. Anyone selling a raptor head??

Thats what I was wondering...why would Yamaha use JB weld on their head unless it was something that was fixed?

dont really think yamaha used JB weld, but both my friend who did the porting and the machine shop that did the valve job deny putting it in there, but one of them had to. Either that or it just magicly appeared!

Sounds like someone made a booboo in the porting department and tried to cover it up. I just don't see how they could have done that unless they went hog wild with the grinders. Its sound funny when you say two guys were involved with the porting!!!
