Default nedd help with my 1999 wolverine

i have a 99 wolverine that has just had the motor rebuilt. it starts and runs great but it doesn't seem to want to pull. The brakes aren't dragging but that is what it feels like. If i put it in reverse and give it throttle it takes right off but then if i put it in first gear and nail it it drags and takes off slow. I even pulled it down into the little ditch in front of my house then try ride out but it will just sit there full throttle and not ride out unless i rock it. Please help. thanks

Is your clutch adjusted correctly? Might wanna double check it.

yes i tried to increase and decrease the clutch with the adjustment screw on the left side but no change. when it is in neutral and i give it gas it seems to rev up kinda slow, not as fast as a motor should. I checked the jets in the carb before i ran it and they where clean but i might check again for something in my high speed jet. If you have any other input please let me know. thanks
