Default How does Wolverine with Warn 424 compare to 400s, 500s?

Sorry to break up the entertainment, and this is getting pretty amusing, but does anyone have any experience with the original topic. I just have some buddies that are getting or have recently gotten new quads and some of them include a couple Vinsons, Eiger, SP500 H.O, and a scrambler. Just wondering how my wolvie will hold up. I am pretty confident and happy with my wolvie, but haven't officially gone riding with all of them yet. I appreciate any input!

Going with a good exaust and jet kit will really help gain more power for the wolverine. you have a weight advantage over the quads you mentioned but they do have bigger engines to offset the differance. I've not really dragged but have run several XC races with prairies and foremans and in stock form they outran me on longer straights but in the woods i could keep up with no problem.

Yea i didnt no that 350cc wolverines had in line sixes. I could of swarn they had sohc single cylinder and a constant velocity carbs as for the inline six thats just the dumbest thing ive ever heard. Plus for a boost bottle you need 2 carbs to equilize air and further more they dont have reeds lol. Next thing he is gonna say is that they have a hemi lol

If you want the most outta your Wolvie go powerstroke diesel!!!

But seriously, a pipe and filter with a rejet will probably be your best bet for a little more oomph.

utiltiy pro reeds are for two strokes what you need is some of them pink powerbands. youll spank YFZ450s with a set of those

They wolverine is a beast in the woods and will wreck large 4x4 cause its more agile, smaller, better tuned susupention for high speeds, and isnt lacking in ground clearence by much. If you get skidplates you wont have anything to worry about anyways. As to the 424 select although its loads more fun i still drag in 4x4 in grass because with my stock tires and the added power of my pipe and filter (i had before i got the 424) I hook up better in 424 and feel harder acceleration. As to having fun the 424 is a must have and makes roosing and powersliding through corners as well as doing donuts absolutely orgasmic. haha. hope that helps. I havent dragged any big bore utils but in the trials ive spanked 'em all
