because snowmobiles and motorcyclese never got the crazy parent sue attack like trikes did (pretty much same catigory as ATVs). There are more regulations on ATVs then snowmobiles or dirtbikes and for some reason everybody loves to pick on them. Probably cause on the news you always see some dumb kid riding down mainstreet on his ATV and crashing with no helmet on. It happens ever month or so around here and give all of us a bad name cause some dumba$$ did somthing stupid. ATVs dont kill people bad drivers kill themselves or parents with no judgement on their children's level of responsibility level do. The whole not having to ballance an ATV like you do a dirtbike draws a large crowd of morons who think its no different then a car and, although were scared away and if ATVs didnt exist, would never touch a dirtbike, but they do exist so they get on and ride like morons.

....i totally agree, and i guess thats what i was getting at, not that atvers are morons or careless riders. what i am saying though is similar to what you are , that some parent with loads of money will go to a yamaha dealer and buy his kid whatever he wants, and the kid like every other one is gonna want the sweetest thing sitting there, and then hell end up going 110 mph through a wooded trail and kill himself on the trees. it would be great if they made this quad, all i am saying is that there will be someone out there that will be stupid and ruin it for everyone. by the way..........i know exactly what u mean about the kids flying down the road with no helmet. this past weekend there was a blue warrior out here in my town....(a flatlander) he wasnt from around here, anyways, he was cranking down all of the streets here, being loud and doing burnouts here and there. well anyways, my quad is the only blue warrior in gwinn...that i know of, and he made us all look bad. the cop came to my house that night to talk to me about ti cuz he thought it was me. and the very next day in thew ally that goes through town, bypasses a long, winding, bumpy trail had a sign in it that said no quads, dirtbikes or scooters. in huge letters. there are too many people that abuse the privelidge out there that make it all bad for the ones that do ride clean and cautiously. which is the exact reason why there wont be a 1000 cc quad. i dont mean to be offensive if this sounds bad, no harm intended......to anyone..

I guess if you call that scooter looking thing that the raptor got it's motor from a streetbike then you are correct.

Actually I think the link I posted was Italian. Either way I didn't post that link for you to read it. There was a picture of the bike on the link that I wanted you to see. It doesn't appear to be an average street bike and you can't deny that.
