Who did your Work? And, Where are they? If they are near by go drive your quad through the front window of the shop and, demand they get it running like it should. Even the mildest 686 should stomp all over stock to piped and, jetted Raptors.
I'd say your lean but, by not seeing your plug or, riding the bike it is tuff. Keep in mind that 90% of most riding is done in the 1/4 to 3/4 throttle range and, this is all needle tuning. (for instance you could be perfect to rich on the mains and, lean on the needle and, blow your engine up like a bomb)
Go pull your plug out of the bike at least and, describe what the threads, white part between the threads and, the tip colors are.
If you don't know how to get the plug out (your screwed) but, you can put the airbox lid back on and, try riding it... This will richen your mixture up due to less air flow... See how it runs.

it sounds good and runs fine.. like i think i can hear the cam it sounds a bit choppier but.. it doesnt make sense it makes me sick to be loosing to a stock raptor but i mean i dont know. its weird but another thing.. would gearing have anything to do with it?
Ive heard that all engine mods do is get you to your top speed faster.. hell i dont know i wanan get this figured out.@!!

Have you tried going with bigger jets yet? Also, what octane are you running? I don't think you'd need to go full out race fuel, but maybe mixing 110 and 91 octane might help. I've got an 02 Raptor that is piped and jetted and I smoke stock raptors except my buddy on his stock 04 Raptor, but he is 110 lbs lighter than me. He's just a little guy, but you should see how fast my raptor is when he's on it it's insane. Anyways, richin it up a bit and check into using a little higher octane.

Yeah do some plug pulling and let us know what color it is and then richin' your carbs up and give a report. You have to do something to this, you are just having all of us guess now.

sorry ive been working on it all day.. i went to the dude and said whats up my bikes a piece of shi t he said well thats waht i run im like dude u have a t4 pipe and what not im saying mine needs to be richer. so he gave "gave" me like some 144 146 148 150 dyno mains and 25 pilots and some mukini 180 mains and what not and i put the 148 150 dyno mains in and dropped my front sproket a tooth.. IM not so dissappointed anymore. I got thinking about it and A. he weights 60 lbs less then me his bike prob weighs 15 pounds lighter cause i have skids and nerfs and what not and come to find out he had a 12 tooth sproket on also .. But we raced again today after i got my sh it done.. well basically if i had a wheelie bar i would have beat him by 20 quad lengths but i was winning today and pulling alot better i gotta order some bigger dyno mains for comparison casue the shop didnt have any. but basically im satisfied i got the guy to do a free valve check and got some stickers and all those jets for free and the front sproket for free.. so yeah another thing though! SIGNS of a clutch going out?? i think this might be my other problem.. i noticed today when i would sh ift like from second to third. it would kinda delay like the rpms would get up there then it would grab and pull .. it didnt seem normal is this clutch problems.. and if so would replacing this make it run better. The funny thing is. his stock raptor when we would race wouldnt wheelie but i was wheelied through 3rd gear lol come around corners on 2 wheels i was determined to win.! Thanks for you help it gave me alot of positive hope to tell the dumbazz that put my bike together what was up! but im heading off to st anthonys tomorrow so ill tell ya how she runs..

Good to hear that the jetting change and sprocket has helped, me and many others on the forum jet by our plugs. This means that we ride it, pull the plugs and determine how well it is jetted by the color of the plug, and how the bike acts. To pull the plug is very simple... You will see a wire going into the engine from the top of the head, you simply give it a little tug and it should pop out (note: I make sure it is pritty clean so no dirt will fall into the hole after i pull it) Then you should have gotten a funny looking piece in your yamaha tool kit (by batery under seat) This was specially made to pull your spark plug out. Simply slide it in the hole where you just pulled the wire out, then make sure it feels like it is on the plug (give a few wiggles) Then grab a wrech and twist. Once it starts to turn, u can do it without the wrench and use your fingers. This piece has a little bit of rubber in it to help the plug hold on while it is comming out. Make sure NO DIRT FALLS IN! Then look at your plug... I really wish I had that helpful link about jetting with plugs, it had good picks and descriptions. White plug means your lean, increase jetting. Black plugs means it is rich, decrease jetting. Tan is what you are shooting for, it is safest for the engine and is near the peak amount of power. You get a little more power if it is a little lean, but risk burning too hot and ruining a piston (and other bad stuff can happen). You run the engine even leaner, and it starts to lose power. Shoot for tan, hope we have helped out.
I would not worry about the pilot jet, you should do fine with the stock pilot.
