its not a quad. I got an '87 Yamaha YZ490 dirtbike off a friend of mine. This thing rips!! I just put on a new FMF pipe and silencer and it sounds awesome, I love the smell of two strokes in the morning!! Does anyone else on the forum ride a bike as well? Please let me know, if so what kind of bike do you have? I had a Honda CR125 3 years ago, then I got into quads, now I'm back in the bike scene!! Let the roosting begin!!

 

I use to own a Yamaha 175 enduro, many years ago. NOw the only thing in my garage with "Yamaha" on it is my outboard motor for my boat!

I had a 1998 kx 125, i just sold it to get a 2001 fourtrax 350 4x4. Im planning in getting a 2001 Cr 250 or a new GSXR(2000 or 2001) 600 street bike, im undecided

 

I seen a couple blasters with the Yz490 motor in em but the guys didnt really get on the gas much. hehe. Looked cool. just like a blaster motor but twice the size.

 

I don't know how fast the blasters were, but my bike flat out huals a$$!! Seriously, when the 2 stroke powerband kicks in and the beast starts screaming all you can do is hang on!! I would like to have a new CR250, my bud has one and they rock!
