.254mm = .010"
I have been running .008/.010" for some time now. I have not had any valve noise problem, but I have stock valves and springs.
Also, I have the stage 1 cam, but the valve lash specs are the same on it as the stage 2
Let us know what kind of times you get with the new power.
What head gasket are you running to hold in all that compression?

14:1 Ride Report...
I'll set my valves to the spec's UBETRUN has presented, and see how it runs. I'll update you Wenesday.
The 14:1 runs awesome, and I am very happy with the switch. I will post times after this weekend. Two races upcoming, on the 3rd and the 4th.
I'm running a cometic hp gasket, sprayed with felpro copper gasket spray. So far no leaks or problems.
