Default Which skid plates to go with ???

Can anyone tell me which skid plates to go with or not to go with ??? I know I will be getting the swingarm plate but also thinking of getting the undercarriage an A-arm plates. From what I can tell so far I probably want one with a nylon chain rail, .250 thickness, and aluminum. Correct me if I should reconsider here. One of my concerns is keeping as much ground clearance on the swingarm plate as possible as there obviously isnt much clearance back there. Is this a valid concern to get picky over or are they all pretty tight fits. In some of the pics I have seen it looks like some might be wasting an inch or so of clearance in their design but cant really tell. Also concerned about weight of the plates but I assume as long as its aluminum they are all probably fairly close in weight.

Thanks in advance ...

I've got full DG skids. Here is my take:

A-arm: They work, but they aren't the tightest fitting things in the world. (If you pound on them with your fist they rattle a little). They are not compatible with the lowering kits I looked at.

Body skid: Very strong, but front "T" mount rattled until I wrapped it with thick rubber bands.

Swingarm: No trouble, but if you want to tooth-up in the rear you're going to have clearence trouble.

Manufacturer support: I wanted to buy extra mounting hardware and they took my credit card and told me it was going to be $25. They must have lost my order, because they never charged me or contacted me.

I run the Armadillo ones on my stuff. They are heavy duty and fit like a glove. You can buy that whole works for like $240 delivered on ebay.
