Did you see the pic on down... The nos takes up all the room under the seat
I am going to try to find a better place for it this winter when I tear it down, but for now it was quick and easy. I always tell the guys at the track that its to help hold down the front, and I am still waiting to see quads start showing up with the battery mounted in the front LOL.

I like it allot... The big advantage for me was being able to retard the timing to run the NOS. Also you can move the limit out as far as you are willing to rev it so you can gain more than 1000. For my application with the NOS it was worth it but if I wasn't running NOS then I don't think I would see that big of a benefit except for moving the rev limit out. I bought the program kit and the ignition when I got mine. If you are into DRAG all the way then yes go for the ignition but if not then I don't think you would see a huge benefit.

I will come up but not on the 7th, I'm going to Bedford PA to race on hard packed clay. They run some wicked bikes there and by the end of the night, the starting line has deep trenches all over the place. Talk about a traction nightmare!:-)
I tried Turf Tamers and Dunlop YFZ radials last weekend. The Turf Tamers spun a little more on takeoff and acted exactly the same every time, the Dunlops would spin sometimes and hook hard others. With 13/39 gearing, I was launching almost full throttle in 2nd. If I wasn't at least 3/4 throttle with the YFZ tires though, it would bog a little off the line when they hooked hard. The other fast Raptor at the Bedford track runs 15/41 and launches in 1st gear with stock Raptor radials. Our ETs were very close but my speed was a few mph higher than his at the 500 ft line. Most of the 4 strokes at Bedford run Turf Tamers or stock Honda/Raptor/YFZ radials.
What gears are your running for 300 ft with the 4 snows and are you starting in 1st or 2nd? Have you tried any radials when the 4 snows won't hook?

I have had no luck with the radial tires... I usually run 12/40 and launch 2nd, but have ran 15/38 and pulled first. It usually depends on the track conditions. I have found the 4 snows to work best on packed and lose tracks around here, but I haven't tried the stock 450 tires.

When I got stuck in 3rd place I would have had to beat Mike twice which would have been hard to do. So I most likely would have been in second, but the red light didn't even give me that. But I was happy with the way it was running, and the times at Fairplane will be better.
UBETRUN, here is the schedule for Fairplane, WV...
August 7, 21, 28
September 4, 5, 25
October 9, 16, 23
You should really try and make a trip once. The track at Fairplane is the best I have ever laid eyes on. Awesome traction, and Larry seems to try his best to keep the track in best race condition. The track at Spencer is only worked before the races, and then they let it go the distance. At fairplane you can actually dial your bike in, and get some real times. At Spencer you have to be the first to practice to get a fast time, then you have to watch your times get worse from there.

That schedule goes for anyone that is close to WV... if you are intested in running we can get you directions and more info. We are always wanting to meet and race new people.
Just post or give me a PM if you are interested. There are stock and modified classes so if you are still riding around stock then you can still come out and play!
