if your talking about the ones that pro design and tons of other companies sell than I'd definetly recommend one, the fan used to come on all the time during the summer, now it rarely comes on, really helps keep it cool

Yeah they work.. I've got a 25 fin on my Rap as well.. The fan comes on a LOT less now... Amazing what a stupid little finned aluminum tube will do! I'd say it works good.. Looks cool too!

Raptor660 fams work well...he tested his quad with a heat gun and it runs much much cooler than his crews other bikes....keep in mind he also had a better radiator and a custom oil cooler installed on it....All these things really help out alot. I got mine from Alpine Engineering on E-bay for a lot less than the other guys charge....same damb thing.

I was thinking of getting a power steering pump cooler from an old car and rig it up to an oil line going/coming from the oil tank...how is his rigged up?

He moved his oil tank to the back and put the cooler where the oil tank went.....looked extemely complicated and I'm sure it took him quite some time to figure out how to do it and not add anymore line...I myself would not attemp it because it looked so complicated but his quad looks so much better in person than it does in the photos...I hope he doesn't get pis$ed at me for telling cause it might be a secret...but he is one of the coolest guys I ever met and I'm sure that he would tell you anything you wanted to know.
