Yea Right, that will never happen

 

Might want to grab the latest issue of Dirt Wheels. It's right there in writing confirmed from Yamaha. It's something they've talked about for a year or so anyway. It IS coming for 2006.

First off, its DW and they said the same thing last year.

Second, its much more important to know HOW they plan to get the extra 10cc's than whether or not they get it at all.

 

A monkey could get an extra 10 ccs out of that motor. I'm quite sure Yamaha can handle it too.

I believe it, infact i posted a couple of these topics. But surprisingly no one cares? Oh, well i know its true i have read the same articals, it will becoming out at the same time the z=450 is coming out.

 

I might add that the article stated this to be confirmed by Yamaha. Yamaha does not confirm many rumors printed in magazines that I've read over the last 35 years. This would lead one one to believe it's not a rumor.

i was goign to get a yfz this november for gncc racing. would the 10 cc's really make a differace since i'm goign to put a yoshi exhaust on it and performance air filter and having it dyno jetted?

 

DW is always full of BS, they said it was going to be 450 for the 05 models, did it happen, NO

 

I have a feeling the YFZ will be a true 450 once the Z450 hit's the showroom floor's. Yamaha fixed the comfort issues this year with the YFZ, and if the Z450 is 1/2 what it's hyped up to be, then Yamaha may want to increase the performance of the YFZ.
