Ya i live in IN and around here e sheriff will pull you over on roads and tell you to stop and when yur riding on stripper pits on the roads to exit them there will be jeep wranglers hidden in the woods with trailers i think its the DNR and there wait 4 quads to come out of a trail in this woods and if you take off on a trail there hop out on the trailer which has about 3 quads on the back and there take off on quads themselves and chase you down its crazy

 

The other one should have shown you that this type of behaviour is not acceptable. I will not lecture you, I just hope the cops catch you.

 

I'll second that. We don't need any help on giving quadding a bad name. Immature people like yourself are the prime example why it is getting harder to find riding areas.

 

Or you could live in NJ and only have 1 legal riding spot in the whole state. Gotta love Jersey

Is it the fact that you are riding on the roads or in the pits? If its the roads then you can get a "ditch permit" which will allow you to ride an atv on the side of the road; not highway, 2 wheels on and 2 wheels off the road. Check with your local BMV because not all county's offer this permit. If its the pits then I would suggest you just stay out of them and find a new area to ride in.

 

i had a lil problem with the DNR in bloomington i was riding on the road.. but here's my side im not from that area and up here where i live it's ok to ride on the road in the country and there i was riding really early(like 9) and some DNR expedition passed and whipped around and pulled me over they were cool about it and only gave me a verbal warning because i wasn't from the area.

 

Depending where u are and what u are doing will it be smart to run or not...where i live i ride on start prop where quads arnt aloud becouse there are no places to ride becouse everyone screws it up for everyone..i jus stay where ppl dont walk the paths and no one patrols it..but sumtime i ride the roads to get to other areas and ppl will get mad if u are passin cars and stuff..then i hope u get caugth..but if u obay the laws like u are drivin a car on the road then no one should really give u a problem.....i run from ncnr sumtimes ..but they most of the time wont even look out for quads unless sumone makes a complant or ppl tear places up

 

indy or anyone else who knows what is a ditch permit?? never heard of this? and how would i find out if i could get one in my county?

 

i believe indy said it was one that allowed you to ride with two wheels on the road and two wheels off. By all means correct me if im wrong indy, but thats what i got out of it. Also as indy stated you should check out your BMV to find out about it.
