just wondering if anyone has bought that quad tech carbon fiber hood?? it is also seen on ebay, i bought it, but cant figure out how it fits on the front plastics, i got the two holes for the top but there are gaps on the sides betweek the hood and plastics. just wondering who has it on there raptor, and if you can give me any tips. it is a really killer hood, made out of carbon fiber, it has bigger opening so a grill is needed. it has a stainless steel trim on it also, pretty slick looking hood

IMO its ugly as all heck, reminiscint of the full bore plastics grill. They make a good product though, so if you like it its a good buy.

 

I got it and it was a little tricky to get it to fit perfectly but I got it. I had to drill two other holes at the top to get it to fit the way I liked it. I also had to drill two holes in the front part of my plastics to get those push-through buttons on. Took me about 30 minutes to get it to fit good. Im not home right now but I will try to get you some pictures of how it looks on mine

 

hey caliraptor, yeah if you get me some pics that would be sweet, i have been playing phone tag with the owner to see what he can for me. but as i see it now, looks like the hood itself is like .25 inch not long enough on the sides. did you have that issue as well and if so how did you fix it. if you wanna send me the pics to my email thats cool also, really a killer hood love the look but not to happy with how it fits!
