Default dg steel nerf bars rubbing on my raptor660 need ideas on a way to fix this problem

my front right tire is rubbing against my nerf bars when i turn the handle bars all the way,,,,,,,could i just beat it with a big hammer or you think that would bend my front bolts holding the nerfs in place. anyone ever had this problem,,,,,,,it sucks and please help.////???????

Sounds like you didnt install them correctly, or you have the wrong nerfbars for your atv. I've never come acrossed this issue before.

Ive got the steel nerfs on mine and dont have any problems, but Im also running 21" tires....if you have taller tires maybe thats why they rub. Try taking the nerfs off and putting them back on again, you might have to tweak it a bit.

my left front don't rub,,,,,,,just the right,,,,,,,,yah i think im going to have to take them off and do some bending/ hamering. they were a night mare to put on,,,,the stealership told me that i would have to bend them a bit to get them to work.....

You shouldnt have to bend anything to get them to work. I would take them back to the dealership and ask for another set before you bash these around and they are unreturnable. Sounds like the dealer either doesnt know what he is talking about.

mine did the same thing when I put 22's on the front then I put 21's back on and it was fine. my left side rub just a little but the right side was bad. but it's not your nerf's it's just the tire. at least thats what i think.
