Default Removal of Factory stickers question

I am going to buy a new seatcover and sticker set and i was wondering the best way to remove the factory stickers.. I have accidently removed the yamaha stickers on the front fenders with a pressure washer but i don't think that the tank stickers would come off..So any idea's on a relativly easy way to do this would be greatly appreciated.

Try using a hair dryer to heat the sticker. This will loosen the adhesive. Then pull the sticker off vary slow…

Default Removal of Factory stickers question

I just removed the large "Warrior" stickers from the rear fender last night using a hair dryer. It's a '93 so they were REALLY stuck well. I heated up the back edge of the sticker first, used a putty knife to loosen the edge to get a grip on it, kept heating back and forth across the sticker as I slowly pulled the stickers up, and had both off without tearing them in about 20 minutes. I used Goo Gone to remove what little glue remained on the fender.
The only problem I have now is that my daughter thinks the '03 Wolverine is hers and the Warrior is mine.

thank's alot for the help guy's i will let u know how it went and post some pics of the new sticker kit as soon as it get's here.

Wd40 is also really good for grip's also..not cleaning the grip's but to get them to stick to the bar's without moving. In fact u have to cut the grip's to get them off when it's time for a new pair. If some of you havn't tried it give it a go next time u get a new set.
