Default Wolverine starter relay!

My 2001 Wolverine starter relay buzzes sometimes and she won't start. I checked all the connections and the battery is charged. When it starts it does fine but sometimes I have to use the old pull cord. Am I over looking something or should I go on and buy a new one? Thanks Kevin!

Have your battery load tested. Any auto parts store will do it for free.
This is very common when the battery is dying. It will hold a 'surface' charge, and as soon as a load is put on it, the volts drop too far. If you have a voltmeter, hook it up, and watch the voltage when you apply the starter.

I second the battery. That is exactly what mine did until I bought a new battery at Batteries Plus for $35.
