OK guys, don't shoot me because I disagree.
This is simple. First: Lock garage with quad in it. Second: Give him a price and tell him he must make and pay all shipping arrengements. Your price includes the bike and hassles of getting bike to shipping point. Third: When, AND ONLY AFTER his check has cleared and the money is locked in your account, start the shipping arrangements. Fourth: Do NOT release bike to shipper without written confirmation that shipping charges have been prepaid.
Short of that, sneak out the back door and RIDE MAN!!!

I was thinking about cash only. Never deposit it in your account, where they can take it back. Cash it and be gone. If the bank gives you the cash, how can they get it back?

well the only bank thats gonna cash it you will have an account with. you will check your balance and it will be - whatever the check was cashed for. it happened to my cousin trying to sell a car.

Ok I give up. I was just trying to think of a way you could scam the scammer. Obviously cashing the check wont work. Just do what everyone else said. Dont mess with it.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]
