Default Something wrong with blaster

Today i went to go ride my blaster just around my house and 1st of all the rear brakes were completely locked up... i had to nail it down my street for it to unlock itself, and it was still not all the way unlocked. 2nd of all it took my like 20 kicks to get it started, and usually it takes me 3 kicks on a bad day. 3rd of all right when i stopped the thing would just stall out and it would take me another 10 kicks to get it cranking again, and even when it was running, it would be hard to have it stay running. I dont know whats wrong with it. In other word it was running like **** today. I know blaster brakes suck and i prolly should replace them because all they do is lock up(front and back brakes). Does anyone know why it was running so bad?

Also is there anyway i can get a pair of brakes for the front off an 03 or 04 blaster? And would they fit right on?

what brake system for the rear would fit? Thanks

01' have Mech disks in back I believe, unfortanatly i've only the only mech disk i've worked on is my bike! none of the mechs have gone bad on any on our quads... somewhere or there could something wrong with the piston that y best guess.
You can put a whole Front Brake system from an 03-05 for like $200 (i'm not sure though prob could find it cheaper) and Trenga sells a rear brake Trenga Racing

About your engine probs, take of your carb and lean everything, there might be some contaminates in it. Then we can go from there

Sounds like your running lean. Has the temp droped sence you jetted it last? That would explain why it was hard to start and why it would die when you came to a stop.

raptorblasterracer, that is so wrong. If you had to change the top end everytime your 2 stroke acted a little funny you would go through 20 top ends a month. I would't even think about replacing the top end until the other obvious things have been checked out first.
