mine has no problems with the light, you have to release the clutch a little for it to shift properly into gear, try that, just let go of the clutch a little bit and bam, you got neutral.

Wow, all these problems with the 350, sounds like a peice of junk.... Seems like yahama has alot of prblems with minors things.. But those minor things is what irrates people the most. For example , The Raptor 350, or the Yfz-450 with the battery and lights problem. I think its sad when someone says every quad has nuetral light problems. Poor assembly.

I have two 05 Raptors and a 04 yfz and all three are great and trouble free. My family and I ride the hell out of them, MX, trails, and just goofing off daily. Its like anything else. My buddy just bought an 05 Chevy with a diesel and all the bells and whistles, he drove 11 miles and it quit. He has had it in the shop for over a month now and its still not done. That does not make all Chevy's bad (even though I drive an 05 Ford F250 fx4).

It seems that when you buy any piece of equipment there is always some goose eggs in the batch. Just work out the bugs and they will be fine. With todays technology they are all great bikes.
