I need to know how to readjust the floats on my 2001 yamaha warrior. while i was in the process of cleaning the entire carb, i think the float timing got messed up because the quad isnt idling right and im afraid to ride it cuz i dont wanna mess anything up. if anyone knows how to readjust the floats can you PLEASE tell me because ill do it in the morning before we get hit with the snow storm so i cna get out and ride..

thanks so much

To set the float, take the bowl off, flip the carb upside down, and check the float height at the line or ridge in the middle of the float. Set it between 11 - 13 mm. Adjust the level by gently bending the little metal tab that rest on the needle and seat, until you get the right level. Reinstall, and you should be set, but while the carb is apart, take the time to spray out the carb real good, might as well clean it up good while it is out.
