stock tires need replaced considering titan 489's 25x8x12 - 25x10x12 what do you think?

I've heard good things about the MudLites. I also heard they just came out with a 25 inch tire with the deep lugs instead of the shorter lugs. Its called the MudLite 25 XT. I'd look at those if I were you. The 489's are a good tire, though.

I have the 23" Titan 489 XT's. They are a pretty good tire except in slick, hard pack conditions. If you decide to go with a 25" I would recommend the Mudlites due to weight. The old two valver is a solid engine, but is lacking in power if not modded. My next set will probably be the 489 AT's because they are a lighter tire.

I've got 25' Bear Claws on my wolvie and there great!!! Got a little more clearance and traction was increased x100... Didn't really notice that much power loss, just a little low end..

But the low end is where you need you power mostly... To spin those tires in the mud. I am getting new tires in the spring, for now I am putting chains on my tires for pushing snow. I am getting 25"mudlites XL. They are great tires.

I've been running with 25" Bearclaw for about 3 yr, they have performed above and beyond. I highly recommend them if your looking for an all terrain tire.

My brother just put some mudlites on his 98 wolverine. The wolverine is one heck of a atv and now with the mudlites on it is one awesome atv. He put 25x8x12 and 25x10x12 on and said he didn't notice any power loss. Next is the Warn 424.

I have 589's on mine and I love them. I go through a ton of stuff and only lost a tiny bit of low end.

The titan 489XT's are VERY light weight and have a very nice ride. Even with a stock 2000 wolvy, it has NO lugging issues with 25's. They measure 24" Here are some pics to get you dander up.
No Motor Vehicles...pic 1
Stream Crossing...pic 2
Drit trail...pic 3

Even pulling up to 14,000 feet the wolvy did fine....Here I am out climbing another properly Jetted machine (400ex)
Yeah, the 400 puked out STEEP climb up to 12,500 feet (gps reading)
Up at 14,000 feet At this altitude you are supposed to have oxygen on an aircraft......

Even with the wolverines bone stock engine, it had NO problem. Light weight tire. I have the exact front tires you are looking at! Great choice.
